Ghana Visit History
07 Mar 2018
In January 14, 2018, the general manger Sui and me, went to the Republic of Ghana for a series of business trips. After nearly 20 hours flight. We arrived at Accra, The capital of the Ghana. The local temperature was more than 30℃。We were sweaty with the coat. The fantastic Ghana, we’re coming!
The customers have reserved a nice hotel with local characteristics , clean and tidy. And our room is the only one with an outdoor balcony. A nearby Chinese enterprise was expending the hotel and swimming pool, even in the very hot noon, the roar of the machine still can be heard and the workers were also energetic.
In the afternoon, after a rest, the local Chinese friends came to the hotel and took us to the office to visit and study. After detailed communication and understanding, we know that there are a lot of Chinese people in Ghana, especially in construction and mining industry. Chinese products are also very popular in the local area. In the evening, we went to a famous Chinese restaurant, ate the food of my hometown, and sighing that China is becoming more and more powerful. In the next few days, we have visited different Chinese enterprises and knew more about the local market.
By the early morning of the fourth day in Ghana, the client pick us up to Kumasi, one of the main destinations for the trip. From the capital Accra to Kumasi, about 300 kilometers, 4 hours drive. In the previous impression, the African countries should be particularly poor in road conditions, but Ghana was obviously much more developed. There are high speed ways, many gas stations, and industrious people were selling all kinds of goods.
When we arrived in Kumasi, we went to see the land that the customers bought firstly. Though the weeds are still growing, but the smooth site and the magnificent building will rise in the next few months. Then we went to the garage and maintenance center in the suburbs. There were more than a dozen cars that need to be repaired in the field. The customer gave us a detailed description of the company's basic car use and the related problems in the process of vehicle operation. Then we arrived at the office of the city, the clean environment in the room, the busy staff and the customers made me feel amazing. In the conference room, customers told us, the second-hand trucks in Europe and the West still occupy a large proportion nowadays, but there are some big problems in later maintenance service, and many accessories are not easy to get. Now the Chinese truck is becoming more and more popular, the reasonable price and the good quality, both are our great advantages. Only one thing we have to do is the after-sales service in the local, so that our Chinese trucks can run perfectly on the road.
In the next few days, we have visited other customers and given relevant recommendations and guidance for different needs. At the same time, we also talked about some future development plans. At present, many customers have offered substantial orders. I believe that in the future, Kailai’s products will stand in the market of Ghana and also in the whole African market.
Time flies, we went back to China with the highly expectation. Ghana, we'll meet again soon!
