On April 17, 2024, the "BYD Pure Electric Engineering Vehicle New Product Launch Conference" was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. The first pure electric engineering vehicles equipped with BYD blade batteries, the T25 and T31 series, made their debut.

BYD's first T25 was developed specifically for the actual operation scenarios of engineering construction. The wheelbase of T25 is 3950+1400 mm, and the minimum turning radius is 8.5 m. It can be flexibly controlled on narrow and winding roads, effectively solving the "difficult and complicated problems" of bridge and tunnel construction scenes; the side-mounted battery layout has a low center of gravity, ensuring more stable driving while taking into account passability. The side-mounted height from the ground is 550 mm, which effectively prevents bumps.

The 4 engineering dump truck on display are all equipped with blade batteries, equipped with a 300 kW high-power dual-gun charging high-torque dual-winding motor, a 6-speed AMT transmission and a high-speed ratio rear axle consisting of an efficient transmission chain. The high-strength cab certified by European standards is equipped with ergonomic leather seats, throttle anti-misstepping, one-button start, remote OTA upgrade and other humanized designs, which make drivers feel more comfortable in engineering road conditions.

In addition, the chassis is equipped with triple armor-style anti-corrosion frame, large-tonnage balanced suspension, large-tonnage axle, large-bore steering gear, etc., to ensure that the vehicle meets high standards in performance, reliability and safety. It can also be converted into a dump truck or a mixer truck according to different operational needs. T25 and T31 are important results of BYD and Sichuan Road and Bridge's cooperation in empowering digitalization, intelligence, and green and low-carbon transformation of the industry with new energy technologies and products. Based on many years of cooperation, the two parties will continue to integrate advantageous resources, witness the commissioning of more than 300 pure electric engineering vehicles, and take this new product launch as a new starting point to more effectively seize the "dual carbon" strategic opportunities and jointly promote the comprehensive electrification of Sichuan's engineering construction field.
